Selkirk Auto Body has been family run through 3 generations. Currently run by Joe Pellaers' son Kris Pellaers, the family is still active in the business. Now retired, you'll still find Joe around the shop with his trademark smile. As a shop, our family continues to grow as we bring new technicians and office staff into the fold.
In The Beginning...
Joe's father, Hubert Pellaers, originally worked on vehicles in his home country of Holland. After immigrating to Canada, he purchased Selkirk Auto Body in 1970. Joe quickly came to work in the family business as a painter. Kris has since joined his father in working to grow the business in to the success that it is today.
Recently, a new wing has been added for Direct Repair and Aluminum Repair. Already certified in many areas, we are still growing fast!

We have a proud history of excellent work and customer service. We have remained loyal in serving our community and in return our customers continue to return and spread the word about our business. Through our success, we have also been able to give back to our community through donating and participating in community events.
